The very affordable X116R offers a great first step in the rear collection lawn tractor range by combining dependability, durability and power in every aspect of its construction from a fully welded steel frame to a cast-iron front axle. It is an automatic rear collection machine providing a perfect finish in smaller gardens.
Operating the mower is a breeze too, with easy controls and great comfort.
Here in Powercut we are proud to have had considerable input into the design and performance of this machine. Our lawns, parkland and other facilities here at our premises were extensively used by John Deere U.S. factory engineers during the prototype’s performance testing phase. You are unlikely to find harder conditions for cutting and collecting grass anywhere. With our wet weather and lush, heavy grass it’s a challenge for any machine. After initial successful tests here, the engineers returned again some months later having made the suggested design modifications. Results were superb as they had really “tweaked” the machine for optimal performance under UK use. The X116R tractor was born and went into production. Magic.

Easy controls
With these new Side-by-Side Pedals, you can control direction and speed without raising a foot (not for X106). (X106, X126, X166, X116R, X145R, X166R).
Convertible to Mulching
The X106, X126 and X166 have a removable baffle as standard for switching from side discharge of clippings to mulching. The X116R, X146R and X166R have a removable plug which is optional.
